A leading member of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Dr. Ekwow Spio-Garbrah is calling for unity in the party.
The NDC is currently faced with internal wrangling which experts believe could hurt its chances in the upcoming elections in December.
But Dr. Spio-Garbrah, who is now President of the Dominion University College, said members of the party must settle their differences to ensure the opposition does not take advantage of their divisions.
He was speaking on Joy FM’s Super Morning Show Wednesday.
“…I feel that those who have been in leadership positions have some reason to accept some of the responsibility…
“If people are willing to accept responsibility and realize where they have failed and where they’ve done something wrong…then I think mutual forgiveness has to be one of the most important rules to abide by…” he stated.
