The Head of Personal Banking at Stanbic Bank, Mr Ben Mensah has encouraged Ghanaians to invest towards their future.
A release from the bank said, Mr Mensah made the call at the launch of the bank's term one campaign in Tamale and Bolgatanga.
The promotion dubbed: "Stretch your money Promo," seeks to encourage customers to cultivate good banking habits whilst maximising gains for their income and investments.
Touching on the promotion scheme, Mr Mensah explained that new customers who open current accounts with minimum amount of GH¢300 would qualify to enter the draw.
He intimated that the said amount qualified the customer to win a coupon as well as a free visa debit card and an international debit card.
"Existing customers are required to acquire a personal or vehicle loan and also to top-up monies in their accounts to qualify them into the promotion," he said.
Mr Mensah revealed that the cash prizes will not be given out to the winners directly but rather will be invested into profitable projects on their behalf.
He announced that the overall winner at the end of the campaign is expected to take home about GH¢10,000 in fixed deposits while GH¢7,500 and GH¢5,000 would be awarded to the second and third winners including other consolation prizes.
The Director of Private and Business Banking at Stanbic Bank, Kevin Wingfield, who addressed customers at the launch, indicated the bank's willingness to go the extra mile to enhance beneficial relationships with its customers.
"We are going to give the opportunity to people to bank with Stanbic Bank and experience our world class products and our excellent customer service. Our doors are widely opened," he added.
Though the promo ends in May, there would be a mid- draw where customers of the bank across the nation will win prizes for their loyalty and continuous custom with the bank.
