New Ghana boss Goran Stevanovic has hinted Sulley Muntari could still have a future with the Black Stars after his long absence from the side.
Muntari has not been called up for national duties since his tantrums at the 2010 World Cup nearly marred Ghana’s participation.
He recently spoke of his disappointment at his continuous omission from the team which has coincided with a lull in action for him at club side Inter Milan where he has struggled to get games.
But Stevanovic told KickOffGhana.com that a meeting with Muntari will be top of his agenda when he travels in the next few weeks to England and Italy to meet some of Ghana’s players.
"My intention is to go to England, Italy and speak with players. I am sure I will speak with Sulley because I like good players and Sulley is a good player," he said.
