Next year's African Cup of Nations finalists, Sudan, have pulled out of a scheduled four nation tournament for the Black Stars to be hosted in Ghana from November 17 to 21.
The Sudanese Football Federation cites their inability to raise a team for the event fixed for the next FIFA free date for international matches.
Sudanese Club Al Merreikh which contributes about 50 percent of players to the national team will be engaged in the finals of the CAF Confederation Cup at the time of the tournament.
President of the Sudanese Football Federation Kamai Shaddad has advised the Ghana FA to find an alternative team.
This is the second time a team is withdrawing from the November tournament to be staged in Accra. Sudan came in as replacement for Guinea who withdrew after being drawn with Ghana in Group A of next year's Cup of Nations.
