SYNLAB Ghana, the leading medical diagnostics firm in Ghana and Europe has launched its new head office at South Legon in the Greater Accra region.
It has been in operation for about six years and to fulfill its mandate to make medical diagnostics accessible and customer friendly, it moved to a bigger space to give its patrons a better experience.
The Chief Executive Officer of SYNLAB Ghana, Patrick Asiamah said, SYNLAB Ghana has invested about 30 million euros in improving health care delivery in Ghana.
“SYNLAB started the investment through the acquisition of Medlab Ghana Limited in 2020. Within the six year period we have invested close to 30 million euros in Ghana. Starting from the acquisition, to equipment upgrade, to expansion, to hiring more staff, to the upgrade and what you see today.”
He further reiterated that the goal of SYNLAB is to make sure that patients and clients who visit their facility leave with accurate, trusted results and world class customer experience.
Also adding his voice to SYNLAB Germany’s commitment to investing in quality medical service in Africa, Thomas Degott, Chief Executive Officer of SYNLAB Emerging Market stated that SYNLAB Ghana is here to stay and is committed to delivering excellent healthcare.

The launch was graced by many big wigs in the medical fraternity who shared testimonials on the good works of SYNLAB. Notable among them was Dr. Frank Serebuor, the President of Ghana Medical Association; Dr. Dzifa Dey, Head of the Rheumatology Department at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital and Ghana’s first rheumatologist.
SYNLAB boasts of footprints in over 40 countries worldwide with partner labs in Germany, Spain, Turkey, Belgium and many more.
It offer over 5,000+ laboratory tests ranging from routine to the most advanced genetic tests. SYNLAB Ghana has 14 branches nationwide, notably Accra, Tema, Kumasi, Takoradi, Koforidua, Goaso and Sunyani.
