The National Youth Organizer of the National Democratic Congress, Ludwig Hlodze is calling for a united political front in an effort to get the country’s youth to reject the politics of violence ahead of the December elections.
Mr. Hlodze’s call comes as countries across the globe mark International Youth Day. The day is under the theme “Building a better world: partnering with the youth.” Ludwig Hlodze who is also a presidential staffer challenged the youth to reject any political party that preaches violence.
The National Youth Organizer of the Progressive Peoples Party, Divine Nkrumah also called on the youth to make job creation a key factor in determining who to vote for in the general elections.
Meanwhile football administrator and close aide to former President Rawlings, Hebert Mensah says the future of the Ghanaian youth is worrying. He told Joy News that though the youth form about 70 percent of Ghana’s population there is no clear cut policy to address their concerns
