Thousands of mourners across the country this morning converged at the House of Prayer Church in Bolgatagan in the Upper East Region to mourn with Rev. Eastwood Anaba, founder of the Fountain Gate Chapel.Rev. Anaba lost his only two daughters - Audrey, 15 and Amanda, 19 - and four of his church members - Benjamin Bulmuo Jnr, 20; Clara Kadjani 36; Alberta Osei, 24 and Alexender Kusi, 32 - in a fatal accident on April 10 at Nasia near Tamale on their way to Bolgatanga for an Easter Convention.Four of the six victims were buried on Saturday, April 25, 2009. They were Benjamin Bulmuo Jnr, Clara Kadjani, Amanda Eastwood-Anaba and Audrey Eastwood-Anaba.Delivering the sermon, Head Pastor of Victory Bible Church, Rev. Tackie Yarboi, described death as an enemy and not a friend as suggested by some Christians.“It is not God that has done this, our enemy has done.”He however asked the congregation to have faith in the resurrection as assured by Jesus Christ.Vice President, John Dramani Mohammed, who was on a three-day tour of the Northern Region, was expected to later join the thousands of sympathizers who paid their last respect to the four.Other dignitaries attending the funeral service include the Majority Leader, Alban Bagbin and Upper East Regional Minister, Mark Woyongo.Information reaching Myjoyonline indicate that the two - Alberta Osei and Alexender Kusi - would be buried on the 2nd of May in Accra and on the 9th of May in Sunyani respectively.Story by Isaac Essel/Myjoyonline.com
