The Trust Sports Emporium Limited (TSEL) handlers have reiterated their desire to support lesser-funded sports in Ghana.
The multi-purpose facility, which was completed in 2018, has been a venue for majority of the lesser-known sports which includes Boxing, Table Tennis, Swimming, Badminton, Judo, Futsal.
The Bukom Boxing Arena, Olympic-size ten-lane swimming pooL, fitness & physio centre, Mudor Conference Centre, Ring Restaurant and Ga Mashie Hall, are some of the facilities accessible to talented sports men and women.
Speaking at the launch of the rebranding of the venue on Friday, Managing Director of TSEL, Shirley Acquah-Harisson, said: "The Emporium is to serve as a hub for sports associations, sports enthusiasts, athletes, and fitness enthusiasts to engage in various competitions and also access top-notch amenities.
"The TSEL extends its reach beyond these walls and into the community of various associations of lesser funded sports," she added.
The launch, which came off on May 26 is to fully declare the functional operations of the venue, having been limited by the devastating effect of Covid-19.
At the event, Acquah-Harisson also revealed they are in talks with government over the possibility of the facility to host some of sports during the 2023 Africa Games.
