Unibank has signed up as the title sponsor for Joy FM’s Easter Soup Kitchen for this year.
The soup kitchen is an annual charity event Joy FM uses to provide hot-cooked meals to thousands of homeless and destitute people in Accra.
General Manager in charge of sales and marketing at UniBank, Clifford Mettle, says the bank is delighted to be associated with the Soup Kitchen this year.
He said the decision to sponsor the soup kitchen was informed by the bank’s desire to give back to society.
Caring for the needy and the destitute, he said, was consistent with UNIBANK’s values.
Also, “This year happens to be our tenth anniversary and …part of the celebration of our 10th anniversary, we want to do something for humanity, for the good of society and we think Joy FM is doing a good thing.”
