Midfielder Uriah Asante has resumed training with Hearts of Oak, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.
The 19-year-old has stayed out of training in recent weeks with an injury but was given the clear by the Hearts medical team and has since Monday started training.
The former Pure Joy player was warned by irate fans of the club not to step onto the training grounds after sending a goodwill message to Asante Kotoko coach Maxwell Konadu on social networking site, Facebook.
But Chief Executive of the club Fred Crentsil insists all issues hovering around the controversial message has been sorted with the return of the player to full scale training.
“Uriah Asante was at training today and nothing happened to him you can check,” he told Takoradi-based Melody FM.
Crentsil however declined to speak on the future of the talented teenager whose contract expires at the end of the current campaign – saying it all depends on coach C.K Akunnor.
“I wouldn’t want to speak on contract extension of any player for now, that is the prerogative of the coach.”
