Ahead of the friendly between Nigeria and the Black Meteors of Ghana to inaugurate the ultra-modern Akwa Ibom International Stadium in Uyo on Friday, November 7, 18 players and nine officials of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) touched down in Abuja on Wednesday and on Thursday inspected the new structure.
The 18 –man playing squad includes Richard Ofori, Eric Ofori Antwi, Emmanuel Nti Mensah, Benjamin Agyari, Lawrence Lartey, Vincent Attinga, Kwasi Quansah, Richard Yamoah, Kojo Poku, Kennedy Ashia, David Osei Opoku, Isaac Oppong Osae, Abedel Latif Amadu, Enoch Kumi Frimpong, Samuel Afful, Noah Martey, Abdul Ganiyu Ismael and Elvis Opoku.
The Ghanaian delegation is led by Kweku Abaka Eyiah, a member of the GFA while Wahab Rahaman and Charles Kojo Ntim, members of the Management team, also in the party to Nigeria.The physiotherapist is Albert Kwadwo Evedzi, Adjei Adjettey is Masseur and Kwabena Agyemang Agyin is Equipment Manager
