Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial both scored as Manchester United beat Burnley to keep up the pressure on Manchester City in fourth place in the Premier League.
Manchester United started without Zlatan Ibrahimovic, giving Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial a chance to start.
Rooney had an early shot, but it was Martial who gave United a lead. Just before half time, Martial was involved again, as his blocked shot was forced home by Rooney for his third league goal of the season.
In the second half, United attempted to keep the ball, and Burnley couldn't use the pace of Andre Gray when there was little space to exploit between defence and the goal.
United have cut the gap between them and Manchester City, in fourth to a single point, while Burnley stay only five points above the relegation zone. United's only concern will be Paul Pogba limping off just before the end of the match.
