It was all fun and excitement last Wednesday at the Marina Mall when 36 customers of Western Union participated in one minute shopping sprees as part of its Year End Promotion. This is the second shopping spree for the promotion.
The lucky 36 customers redeemed shopping vouchers worth GHC 1,000 each in a campaign which is part of Western Union’s efforts to reward their loyal customers for patronizing their services last year.
The winners were selected after emerging winners of the 2nd draw held on January 2 in Accra.
One of the winners, Irene Amanor, a nurse said the shopping spree was exciting, making families have such good fortune for the New Year heavy
“The shopping spree was exciting and fun; I just needed some help with the trolley after the first half of the spree because my cart was already full”, she recounted.
Western Union as a corporate entity in recognizing their customer’s effort in doing business with them organizes the shopping spree to celebrate the year end with its customers and also afford them the opportunity to choose their own gifts for the New Year.
At the end of the promo 77 customers won GHc1000 worth of shopping while 215 customers won GHc300 shopping vouchers.
