The police later set fire into stores, sheds and structures of the suspected peddlers hence damaging goods worth thousands of Ghana cedis.
The district police commander, Superintendent Benedict Wanje told Joy News ‘In those times, we do arrest them and for all you know they come back and organize themselves in these structures and operate and it’s very bad, dealing in cocaine, Indian hemp, heroine and all those things; Destroying the youth of today’.
He also added that this time, the operation was meant to demolish the structures that house the criminals.
