The Public Service Joint Standing Negotiating Committee (PSJSNC), comprising government, represented by the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission (FWSC), and organized labour, yesterday concluded negotiations for a 10 per cent across board salary increase for all public servants effective January this year.A statement signed by George Smith-Graham, Chief Executive of the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission, and Mr. Kofi Asamoah, Secretary General of TUC, said “this forms part of the processes of implementing the Single Spine Pay Policy".It said: “The committee further agreed that the payment of the new salary levels will be effected in July while arrears due would be paid in two tranches in August and September.
