A ten year old girl has reportedly hanged herself after she was scolded by her mother for misbehaving.
The girl (name withheld for now) was pronounced dead on arrival at the Amasaman government hospital where distressed relatives had rushed her.
The deceased hanged herself on a mango tree in the forecourt of the house, located at Soldiers camp, a suburb of Amasaman in the Greater Accra region in the evening of Thursday May 16, 2013.
