Thirteen new players have been called up in a 35-member list as Ghana's preparations for the final round of qualifying for the 2011 African Under-17 Championship begins on Thursday.
They are Yufa Zugah, Mohammed Harrif, Enock Asare, Mumuni Abubakar, Asiedu Atobra, Ben Akufu, Razak Kassimu, Benard Appiah, John Kwofie, Dan Amartey, Joseph Gordon, Evans Osei, Joe Paul Asante.
The Black Starlets will meet Senegal over two-legs in November during the final qualifiers with the winner earning a place in the finals to be hosted by Rwanda next year.
Others named in the list are Tijani Musah, Afofwa, Abdul Rahman, Enock Kwakwa, Jonathan Eshun, Baba Mensah, Prince Bello Adiko, Adjei Boateng Bismark, Nasiru Mohammed, John Nyamekye, Asamoah
Benjamin, Ali Calga Gibrine, William Benuasin, Appau Jacob, Isaac Bonney and Baba Musah.
The rest are Ibrahim Mohammed, Isaac Hagan, Isaac Nana Asare, Bio Samuel, Godsway Kpodo and Derrick Mensah,
According to Coach Frimpong Manso the team had enough time to prepare for the final leg of qualifying as he begins camping with his selected players at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.
Ghana beat Zambia 2-0 to progress 3-2 on aggregate over two legs.
