Nineteen institutions and individuals received awards in the 15th edition of the Volta Regional Tourism Awards held on Friday.
Tour Care International of Hohoe, a travel and tour company won the Tour Operator of the Year Award.
Aflao Car Rental Services on the other hand won the Car Rental Service award in category 'C'.
From Home Car services also won the Car Rental Service in the grade 'B' category.
Mohammed Ibrahim won the site guide of the year for Fort Prinszenstein in Keta while Dela Fumador won the Tour Guide of the year.
Tourism writer of the year went to Edward William of the Ghana News Agency (GNA).
Volta 1 TV won the Tourism Oriented Media for TV category, while Volta Premier and GNA won the radio category and the Online Media category respectively.
Anlo Hogbetsotso won the Tourism Programme of the year.
Consistent Tourism Levy Payment award went to Skyplus Hotel.
Rona lodge at Adidome grabbed the Budget Hotel of the year.
Meanwhile, Skyplus Hotel picked the One Star hotel of the year and African Hill Resort picked the Two Star Hotel award.
Villa Cisneros Resort and Spa won the Three Star Hotel award.
Stephen Goe with Freedom Hotel picked the Chef of the year award.
Afadzato South District also won the District/Municipal Support for a Tourism award.
