The Police Criminal Investigative Department has arrested eighteen suspects in connection with recent murders in the Ashanti region.Kwadwo Asamoah, Prince Opoku Anto, Joe Adusah Ayison, and Isaac Turkson were all murdered in the last couple of months.Ten suspects have so far been arrested in connection of Kwadwo Asamoah’s death which resulted from gangsterism. They have been arraigned and are on remand. The police are on the manhunt for three other suspects.On the other hand, four suspects have been picked and also arraigned before court and remanded in prison custody in connection with, Prince Opoku Anto’s death.Four others are also been processed for court in connection with Joe Adusah Ayison.However, no suspect have been picked up in the cases of Isaac Turkson but the police say they are making frantic efforts to get hold of the suspects.COP Prosper Agblor, head of CID has advised the general public to observe personal safety.
