Over 30 people were injured when a gas station in Sunyani exploded on Tuesday.
Most of the wounded are being treated at various clinics and hospitals in the city for various degrees of burns.
The explosion also destroyed three cars and nearby shops, Brong Ahafo Regional Fire Commander R.F. Paul Opoku confirmed to Joy News on Wednesday.
A huge inferno which was triggered as a result of the blast, nearly engulfed the administration block of the Sunyani Polytechnic, eye witnesses said.
However, fire officers are said to have rushed to scene to put out the raging conflagration.
