A 66-year-old Surveyor in the Hohoe Municipality of the Volta Region has taken his own life in yet another horrifying suicide incident.
Michael Agbesi shot himself in the head with a locally manufactured single barreled gun.
His body, with the head split into pieces was found by family members in a store house at their residence.
Police have deposited his body at the Hohoe Government Hospital Morgue.
A son of the deceased, Selis Agbesi tells Joy News the family is still struggling to come to terms with what could have motivated his father to take his own life.
“He shot himself in the mouth, that is what police investigation said,” the son reported.
