Former President John Mahama has joined eminent Ghanaians to mourn the death of New Patriotic Party (NPP) MP for Ayawaso West Wuogon, Emmanuel Agyarko.
In a short statement, the former President said: “ politics may divide us on ideological lines and during debates and arguments, but Emmanuel Agyarko’s personality and his conduct even in the political space always exemplified the gentleman that he was.”
Mr Agyarko died in the United States on Wednesday after a protracted illness, family sources said.

STATEMENT FROM HE JOHN DRAMANI MAHAMA ON THE DEATH OF EMMANUEL KYEREMATENG AGYARKO, MP FOR AYAWASO WEST WUOGON
“I received news of the Hon. Emmanuel Kyeremateng Agyarko’s death with great shock last night.
The very kind words in the tributes being paid to him accurately reflect the kind of person he was.
Politics may divide us on ideological lines and during debates and arguments, but Emmanuel Agyarko ’s personality and his conduct even in the political space always exemplified the gentleman that he was.
Lordina and I join grieving Ghanaians in expressing our condolences to the wife, children, family and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) on his loss.”
