Staged by the biggest gaming industry organizer in the country, Madagastar GH is hosting its annual sporting event that will take place from June to August 2019 at the West Hills Mall in Greater Accra.
The 2019 Master League will precisely kick-off at 9:00 AM GMT on Saturday, June 22nd and conclude on Saturday, August 17th, it has been revealed. Interested participants are to inquire from the organizers for registration.
It will be Madagastar's third consecutive season dedicated to bringing the country's top performing FIFA video gamers together in fierce clashes. As usual, over 250 players will be sectioned into four leagues -- the Premier League, Division 1, Division 2 and Division 3 – with one champion emerging per division. With the promotion/demotion and home and away structure giving the Master League a feel of real-life competitive league football, participants have been urged to be equipped with their own controllers.

eSports entrepreneur and Madagastar founder, Igor Boumekpo, noted that interest in the gaming industry is growing in West Africa.
"There's a Madagastar branch in Lome, Togo. We are working to set up other branches in Benin, Burkina Faso, Cote d'Ivoire, and Nigeria," he said.
The battle is on for one ultimate winner to be crowned Master League 2019 champion after Kelvin (2017) and John Kennedy (2018). Meanwhile, last November, "Archimedes" came out as the overall victor of Madagastar GH's exclusive FIFA 19 launch exhibition, eventually winning GH¢500 in a cash prize.
