Head pastor of The Church of Pentecost at New Achimota District, Pastor Kissi Agyekum, has admonished Christians to put all their trust in God for he has the power and authority to heal, deliver on his promises, keep them from falling and do exceedingly more than they ask for in the year 2019.
He was speaking on Sunday morning at a District Joint Service to climax a week of fasting and prayers to prepare and fortify his congregation spiritually for the New Year under the theme ' The God of heaven will give us success' curled from Nehemiah 2:20.
In the service characterized by ceaseless stream of joy evident in the song , prayer , Prophetic and Word ministrations,
Pastor Agyekum urged the church to have faith in God like the two blind men in Matthew 9:27-28 who trusted in Jesus Christ for their healing.

He also pointed to Biblical patriarch Abraham who according to Romans 4:20-21 'did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.
He strongly dissuaded his members from moving from one prophetic meeting to another in search of protection and spiritual covering. According to him that is unnecessary since the Christian who is hidden in Christ cannot be harmed by evil.
Ghana, an example of a classical Traditional African country which aims to modernize its economy still holds spirituality in the highest of esteem.
Every occurrence is believe to have spiritual underpinning. it is flowing from this that 31 night of December and the first week of January is marked by spiritual celebrations to thank God and to commit one's self into His care for a successful year respectively.
