Goalkeeper Felix Annan says Asante Kotoko’s Caf Confederation Cup playoff is far from over despite his side holding a 3-2 lead over Coton Sport.
Emmanuel Gyamfi, Maxwell Baakoh and Abdul Fatawu were all on target as the Porcupine Warriors secured victory in a tight first leg in Yaounde last week.
But Annan, who has been impressive between the sticks for Kotoko, has warned the tie is far from over ahead of Sunday's second leg in Kumasi.
“It's not a done deal. If it is, then we should have been declared qualified to the group stage,” Annan told Joy Sports.
"We went there to upset them and they can still do that you know, so we are really focused even though we know we have one leg there.
"We are going to work really hard so we qualify to the group stage on Sunday. We have this target and we will take it game by game.”
The Porcupine Warriors will progress to the group stages of the competition if they avoid a two-goal deficit defeat.
It will be the first time since 2008 that the record Ghanaian champions reach the group stages of a continental championship.
