Manchester City are ready to make a move for former Tottenham Hotspur flop Kevin-Prince Boateng in the summer.
Accoring to TalkSPORT, Roberto Mancini has identified the AC Milan star as one of the men to he needs to help win back the Premier League title next season
Manchester City are 12 points behind rivals Manchester United and Mancini is expected to rebuild significantly for next season.
Boateng would provide some added drive in the Citizens midfield alongside Yaya Toure, as he has excellent physical attributes.
A move to Manchester City would provide some semblance of redemption for the Ghana international, as his time with Spurs was considered a failure by many.
Going to the Etihad Stadium would give him the chance to prove he has what it takes to succeed at a big Premier League club.
After the unsuccessful spell at White Hart Lane, Boateng moved to Portsmouth and showed promise, which lead to him securing a surprise move to AC Milan.
Were he to make the switch to Manchester City, Kevin-Prince would follow in the footsteps of his brother Jerome, who had an unhappy season at the Etihad Stadium before moving to Bayern Munich.
