Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan suffered defeat with his Al Ain team in the Asian Champions League match against Al Hilal on Tuesday night.
The Black Stars captain failed to score despite playing the full game as the UAE champions continue with their struggles on the road in the competition.
Two well taken first half goals by Salem Al Dawsari and Wesley in the 4th and 24th minute respectively proved too strong for the Boss who offered a vastly improved second half performance but fell short of scoring.
Al Ain have now failed to pick up even a single point on their travels in the Asian Champions League and must now win their final game at home to Esteghlal to have any chance of progress from their tough group.
