Hearts of Oak midfielder Laryea Kingston says he will not encourage any Ghanaian player abroad to return and play in the Ghana Premier League.
The former Scotland-based player is advising his colleagues who plan to return to the country’s top flight to immediately forget the idea because of what he describes as unprofessional.
Kingston has been in the media for all the wrong publicity since joining Hearts of Oak two seasons ago.
According to the 33-year-old, with the little experience gained since coming back to play in the Ghana league, he will not advise any of his colleagues to follow suit.
“I won’t advice anybody to play at the highest level and come down and play in this league, no,” he told Joy Sports
“Going up there to experience a lot of things and coming here for a whole new experience is very difficult, the fans here are not ready to accept things, they always want to pull you down to what is here, they will tarnish your image than to appreciate what you are bringing on board.
“For instance in Europe a player is given the opportunity to go on the pitch and access it a day before matches but here in Ghana it is not allowed”
“They wouldn’t allow you to go on the pitch because they think you have juju “black magic”, so i won’t advice any of my colleagues to come back after what i have gone through”.
