Unbeaten boxing superstar Floyd “Money” Mayweather (44-0, 26 KOs) defended his WBC welterweight belt with a one-sided twelve round unanimous decision against Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero (31-2-1, 18 KOs) on Saturday night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
Southpaw Guerrero didn’t come out as aggressive as expected and Mayweather landed a few pot shots in round one. Slow pace in round two where neither did much. Mayweather connected with some lead rights in round three. Mayweather repeatedly beating Guerrero to the punch in round four. Mayweather’s right continued to pick Guerrero apart while Guerrero was unable to apply meaningful pressure.
