The Meteorological Services Agency says the intensity of a rainstorm expected to hit Accra and parts of the country today has reduced.
The Agency on Monday morning warned of an storm from the Eastern region through to the southern part of the country.
The storm was said to be coming from Nigeria and is currently at the Ghana-Togo border.
But a Forecaster at the Agency, Felicity Ahafiano has confirmed to Joy News the intensity of the storm has reduced.
Madam Ahafiano said the storm should have hit the target areas by now but due to pressures in the Coastal areas, the predicted effect has considerably subsided.
According to her, there should still some dry thunder situations accompanied by some rainfall, but there will not be strong winds as earlier forecasted.
