Berekum Arsenal have apologized to Asante Kotoko for the unruly behaviour of their fans after their 3-0 defeat at the Golden City Park on Sunday.
Fans of Arsenal after the game were off their rocker resulting in the smashing of the windscreen of the Kotoko bus.Not even the intervention of the security personnel was enough to lessen the violent attacks on the Asante Kotoko team.Arsenal spokesperson Mohammed Salifu has rendered an official apology to Kotoko and has called on his fans to restrain themselves."What some of our fans did on Sunday was wrong and we have condemn their unruly behaviour," he told Joy sports"The glass of the Kotoko bus was destroyed by the fans and the scenes there were terrible but I would like to state that all these incidents happened outside the stadium so the security could do little to calm things."The Ghana Football Association is expected to hand heavy sanctions to the club who are facing relegation.
