International audit firm, KPMG, has completed auditing the pink sheets at the heart of the election petition challenging the declaration of President Mahama as winner of the 2012 Presidential election.
The company is expected to present 15 copies of the final report to the registrar of the Supreme Court before 9 a.m Monday June 24, 2013.
Each of the nine judges of the court will be given copies, and so will all the parties in the case. The extra copy will go to the Judicial Secretary.
The petition hearing went on break to allow the accounting firm conclude its audit of pink sheet exhibits submitted by the petitioners.
The petitioners last week raised some concerns about the draft report submitted by KPMG and requested an immediate meeting with the referees before the report is presented.
Joy News has learnt the two parties met and resolved the issue. If the court is satisfied with the work of the referee and accepts its report, the petitioners will continue with the cross-examination of the witness of the second respondent, Dr. Kwadwo Afari Gyan.
Hearing, however, resumes Monday around 10 a.m.
