Season 3 of the iconic Mirror Ball event will from this July be held at the Golden Tulip Hotel, organisers Tag Team Ltd have announced.
This follows the abrupt closure of the last event, held at the La Palm Beach hotel due to challenges with power generation on May 31 this year.
The organisers in a statement said “We wish to apologise to our esteemed clientele and sponsors who attended the “Denim Dance” Mirror Ball on May 31…”
"It is unfortunate that the wonderful turn out we experienced, the fun and ambience on that night had to be curtailed due to these unforeseen challenges. In return for the patronage of our discerning guests and our commitment to maintaining the highest of standards, we wish to inform Mirror Ballers that at the first event to be held back in the Branche Lounge of the Golden Tulip on July 26th, patrons will be treated to free cocktails and a mix CD each on arrival" Mr Edwin Baffour of the Tag team stated.
The Mirror Ball, for the last two years, has consistently engaged a niche audience of mature fun lovers on a monthly basis, recreating the legendary funky groove and disco eras of the 70’s and 80’s and 90's.
Ghana’s finest old school turn table maestro William Nanka-Bruce, popularly known as DJ BLOW, will continue to do what he does best every last Friday of the month, providing a vehicle to escape back in time to the good old days.
“I promise our guests and our proud sponsors who will attend on July 26, a Mirror Ball worthy of being ranked amongst the best night out in their memory. Simple and unrefined fun is what you should expect”, he assured.
There will be no Mirror Ball at La Palm this month, however the theme of the next event on July 26 is "The Homecoming" and this will be an ALL WHITE AFFAIR which promises to be another night to remember.
