Rlg, initiators of the Hope City Project, has officially announced that Frema Ashkar, a popular news anchor and TV Presenter on an Accra based TV station has been appointed as the Project’s Public Relations Manager.
31-year-old Frema Ashkar, has been a broadcast journalist for years and has anchored a number of TV programmes since 2011. She has also worked previously as a News Anchor and Editor at e.TV Ghana and TV3.
She holds a BA Degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Ghana, Legon, and she is currently at the final stage of her MA Degree in International Affairs and Diplomacy from the same university.
Frema started her career as a reporter for Fox FM in Kumasi before moving to TV3, helping to brand the entertainment segment of the main news bulletin.
“I am absolutely delighted to have been appointed Public Relations Manager of the Hope City project” Frema was quoted by peacefmonline.
The Rlg powered $10 billion Hope City Project, according to the initiators will be Silicon Valley of Africa.
The project, which has been relocated to Prampram in Accra, will have a university, shopping centres, offices, residential areas, game centres and other modern facilities on its premises.
According to Rlg, when completed, the City will provide jobs for about 50,000 people and will host 25,000 inhabitants.
