Australia understands the importance of information technology in the twenty first century”.She stressed the need for Ghanaian children to have access to up to date information and make education easier to speed up the process of development. The High Commissioner pledged her government's commitment to building young people’s capacity in information technology.Headmaster of Noble Gold School, Peter Dadzie, said the gesture is very critical to teaching and learning of ICT in the school, recounting how his studies had to end abruptly, whenever there was power outage.“Before we had one source and when the lights go off, we had to stop lessons and end up losing most of our data. Now every desktop computer has individual uninterrupted power supply and I believe this is going to improve the ICT studies in the school” Mr. Dadzie expressed.
