Witnesses in the main market (Bakara) in Mogadishu, Somalia, say gunshots were heard after a vehicle carrying government security forces exploded on Tuesday.The cause of the explosion is not yet known. Casualties were carried away by security forces, no deaths have been recorded so far.Somalia’s Islamic al shabaab rebel group is suspected to be the ones behind the explosion. Since last month, they threatened to forge ahead their campaign after an assault on United Nations base on 19th July killing 22 people.
