Host of Kumasi-based Fox FM, Blessed Godsbrain Smart popularly known as Captain Smart, has joined the Multimedia Group.
The firebrand presenter, known for his hard-hitting style, is set to take over as host of Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem morning show.
The current host of the show, Adakabre Frimpong Manso, is set to move to Multi TV as host of the Adom TV morning show Badwam, with the current host Kwadwo Asare Baafuor Acheampong (KABA) moving back permanently to radio as host of Asempa FM’s afternoon political show Ekosii Sen and the Saturday morning political analysis programme Kukurantumi.
Management of Multimedia have told Adomonline.com the entry of Captain Smart is part of a number of both internal and external moves aimed at strengthening the leadership position of the Multimedia brand.
Speaking to Adomonline.com, Captain Smart promised a “revolution” in morning show programmes in Accra, with a greater focus on human interest stories and investigative reporting.
“Everything I’m about to do is all about my listeners, so you my cherished listeners would always be part and parcel of my show,” he promised.
