Over 25 trucks carrying foodstuffs and passengers are stuck in mud at Anokye a village in the Pru District of the Brong Ahafo Region due to the bad nature of their roads.According to the drivers, their vehicles have been in the mud since Wednesday while moving food from Zamrama to Kintampo. An eyewitness, Obeng Sarkodie told Adom News the situation has created a huge vehicular traffic, which is also making it difficult for other roads users to ply it.As at the time of going to press, the truck drivers have hired a towing vehicle to tow their vehicles from the mud.
The drivers are therefore calling on the leadership of the Pru District to do something about the road as a matter of urgency or else they will advice themselves.
