A member of the Young Patriots, the youth wing the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), John Kuma, has jabbed the competence of ministers and other key officials in the current administration.
The NPP stalwart believes although late President John Evan Atta Mills was criticised for working with a less competent team 'B', the situation under President John Mahama is worse.
"You can't appoint Team 'Z' while [there are] potential Team 'A's", he admonished government.
John Kuma was reacting to the widely condemned "where is my speech" debacle by Deputy Communications Minister, Victoria Hammah.
Speaking on the on the AM Show on the Joy News Channel on Multi TV Monday August 12, John Kuma did not hide his disgust at the incident.
The Deputy Minister last week dominated the headlines of electronic media and social networking sites, after she was captured struggling to present her address, and blamed it on her aide for giving her a speech different from what she had earlier edited.
She therefore decided to give her speech in extempore.
But John Kuma said Victoria Hammah's gaffe is an indictment on the competences of the officials under President John Mahama's administration.
