Asante Kotoko Chief Executive Officer Geoge Amoako and four other Ghana Premier League chiefs have been voted onto the new Ghana Football Association (GFA) Executive Council.
Medeama Board Chairman, Dr. Anthony Aubynn; Berekum Chelsea’s Nana Sarfo Oduro; AshantiGold CEO, Frederick Acheampong and Bechem United chairman Kingsley Osei Bonsu were the other members.
However, Hearts of Oak’s Chief Executive Officer Frederick Moore lost the elections held Thursday afternoon at the GFA Secretariat.

Aduana Stars CEO Albert Commey also failed to get onto the Executive Council.
The five winners have taken available slots allocated to Premier League clubs on the Executive Council and will serve for the next four years.

Dr Anthony Aubynn won the elections with 14 votes, Frederick Acheampong came second with 11 votes, George Amoako and Kingsley Osei Bonsu were third with 10 votes as Nana Oduro Sarfo picked the fifth position after earning nine votes.
Frederick Moore [eight] and Albert Commey [seven] were sixth and seventh respectively.
With the completion of the Premier League elections, the only spot left to be occupied on the Executive Council is the Regional FA.
The regional FA has been allocated two slots but only one was determined with the second to be voted for on Friday.
