Ghanaians stranded at the Nigeria-Benin border should soon be given a passageway if a memorandum of understanding signed between Ghana and Nigeria following the closure of the Nigerian border, is followed through.
Joy News Head of security desk Gifty Andoh Appiah reports that, Documents containing details of Ghanaians stranded at the border were Friday presented to Nigerian authorities who had requested them in a similar meeting last month.
But until that happens, the stranded drivers and traders at the border are stuck between protecting their goods from theft and returning to Ghana empty-handed.
