8:10 am: Not a good news for Accra Hearts of Oak as their striker Joseph Esso is reportedly on the verge of joining Sudanese side Al Hilal Omdurman. According to various reports the striker has agreed personal terms with the North African side and is expected in Omdurman next week to complete a medical. 9:30 am: Similarly to Asante Kotoko, the club risk losing goalkeeper Felix Annan on a free transfer. According to reports, the club's No.1 shot-stopper is out of contract at the end of this month [December] but talks are yet to begin on a contract extension. Annan is allowed to talk to interested clubs and possibly sign a pre-contract. 10:30 am: To Aiyinase, Karela United have approached Abdul Rahim Bashiru to become the headcoach of the club. According to rumours, talks are currently on going with the club increasingly confident a deal can be reached before the new season kicks off.
12:20 pm: Elsewhere, Berekum Chelsea have added Sultan Drinks to its sponsorship portfolio. The deal sees the Austrian brand become the club’s official beverage partner for the next three years. As part of the deal, Ekor Odel Limited gave the 2011 Ghana Premier League champions 40 pairs of puma boots, 40 football hoses, two sets of training jerseys and 40 pairs of shin guards.
1: 24 pm: The latest is that, Felix Annan will in the coming days sign a new two-year contract to extend his stay with the Porcupine Warriors according to the CEO, George Amoako, "Talks are far advanced with Felix Annan to extend his contract, he wanted to sign for one year and we (Kotoko) proposed two years, he has agreed, what is left is monetary issues, offer and acceptance, everything is in place and by the end of this week he will sign the contract". He told Kumasi based Fox Fm.

Blackseed Sultan Drinks are distributed by Ekor Odel Limited whose president Kwabena Odame said: ”We entered the Ghanaian market one year ago and we realized Ghanaians love their football and so we wanted a partnership with a club.After research, we realized that Berekum Chelsea is an ambitious club and so had discussions with management because their vision is in sync with ours."

2:36 pm: Former Karela United FC attacking sensation Williams Opoku Mensah is set for a sensational return to the local scene after a brief spell in the United Soccer League. The nimble footed attacker has been holding closed door negotiations with Asante Kotoko SC and is set to complete a stunning switch to the Baba Yara Stadium.
