The National Service Scheme has announced the date for the registration of eligible Ghanaians who missed the opportunity to do their national service in previous years and now wish to enrol to do so.
In a release by Corporate Affairs Directorate, the registration is set to take place from Wednesday, January 15, 2020, up to Tuesday, March 31, 2020.
“Eligible registrants should include candidates who started but could not complete the service, private candidates who are qualified and wish to enrol, and Ghanaian nationals who schooled abroad.
“Eligible applicants are, therefore, required to submit their application letters to any of the Regional Secretariats of the Scheme or the NSS head office in Accra,” the release indicated.
Applicants are to go to the NSS offices with a letter requesting for PIN code or reactivation of PIN code, certified true copy of School Certificate or Transcript, evidence of Deferment Letter, an Attestation/Introductory letter from the institution attended.
In addition, they are to produce a copy of any of the National Identifications – Voters, Driver’s License, Travel Passport- and a copy of School ID.
“International students are mandated to upload their travel passport and other supporting documents on portal.www.nss.gov.gh as part of the NSS Diaspora Program.”
