Asante Kotoko suffered another defeat as they fell 1-0 to Medeama in Tarkwa on Wednesday.
A penalty converted by Prince Opoku Agyemang in the 4th minute was enough for the Mauves to condemn the Porcupine Warriors to their second straight defeat.
Kotoko’s first defeat of the season came last weekend at the Baba Yara Stadium against Berekum Chelsea.
Their arch-rivals, Hearts of Oak played out a goalless draw with WAFA in Sogakope. Elsewhere, Aduana Stars lost for the first time as they were beaten by Eleven Wonders.
Liberty Professionals claimed their first win of the season at the expense of Ebusua Dwarfs
