A minor accident on the Accra- Kasoa road left dozens of commuters stranded for several hours, Myjoyonline.com has learnt.

A fuel tanker was involved in an accident close to the Kasoa toll booth and for fear of bursting into flames the fire service blocked the road to prevent the flow of traffic.

Commuters travelling to Accra from Cape Coast and vice-versa had to park their vehicles several meters away from the scene of the accident and make the trip on foot.

The incident created lots of vehicular traffic several meters away from the toll booth.
