The Tema Circuit Court 'A' has granted bail in the sum of GH¢10,000 with one surety to Isaac Quansah, 17-year-old Senior High School student for allegedly defiling a 15-year-old girl.
Quansah who pleaded not guilty to the charge of defilement would re-appear in court on March 27.
The court, presided over by Mr Charles Asiedu heard from prosecution that the Junior High School form two victim resides with her mother in the same vicinity as the accused at Tema Manhean.
Police Chief Inspector Mary Asunta stated that the victim who was sent by her mother to buy soap from a nearby shop on January 20 this year at about 2200 hours returned home late.
Prosecution said the victim after being quizzed by her mother revealed that Quansah had sexually abused her.
Accused person who was arrested by the police after a complaint was made by victim's mother admitted the offence but noted that he and the accused have been lovers for the past two years.
