Hearts of Oak have appointed former players Eben Dida and Amankwa Mireku as goalkeeper’s trainer and team manager respectively.
The duo were presented to the playing body in their evening training session at Legon on Tuesday.
The appointments are said to be in response to reports of a request made by coach Mohammed Polo to have his backroom staff changed.
The club have consequently agreed to let go of assistant coach Ben Adjei, goalkeeper’s trainer Dan Tettevi and Welfare Officer Nat Ofosu.
Hearts of Oak in a press release stated: “The management of Accra Hearts of Oak has mutually agreed with Ben Adjei (Assistant coach), Jacob Nettey (Reserve Team coach) and Nat Ofosu (Welfare Officer) to part ways with immediate effect.
“The club has appointed Eben Armah Dida and Yaw Amankwa Mireku as Goalkeepers’ coach and Team Manager respectively.”
Hearts have also elevated the status of Commey Botsie as the head of the club’s Physiotherapy Department.
