Four New Patriotic Party (NPP) members including Mr Okerchiri Kwabena Adusah, Member of Parliament for Nkawkaw, have picked forms to contest the primary.
The other contestants are Mr Yaw Owusu-Addo, the Director of Radio of the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC), Mr Seth Adjei-Baah, the Managing Director of Shaba Enterprise Limited and Mr Kwaku Manu-Asiamah, a Director of the Centre for National Culture (CNC)
The constituency Chairman of the party, Nana Yaw Boateng, told the GNA in an interview that the contestants would be vetted by the regional executive of the party after they have submitted their completed forms at the end of the month.
He advised them to conduct their campaign in a peaceful atmosphere devoid of vain promises and unsubstantiated allegations against their opponents.
