The Managing Director of SIC Insurance, Mrs. Doris Awo Nkani, has announced the introduction of a new claims payment code expected to fast-track the payment of claims to clients.
With the new policy, legitimate claims would be made within five working days, after all relevant documents have been presented, says Mrs Nkani.
According to her the new payment code is to ensure that the insurance company pays legitimate claims due its clients on much appreciable time.
She disclosed this on Tuesday during a presentation of a cheque for GH¢144,308.88 to the Graphic Communications Group.
The amount was claims covering a Staff Bus belonging to Graphic Communiations which was recently involved in an accident.
“We appreciate the loyalty of Graphic Communications to our brand, and encourage others to do same by insuring with SIC,” she said, reiterating her outfit’s commitment to ensuring that claims owed clients were paid on time.
The Managing Director Graphic Communicaitons, Kenneth Ashigbey, receiving the cheque commended SIC Insurance for the prompt payment of the claims “which will help us replace our loss."
“With such a delivery, we can only continue to do business with you and trust you,” he said.
Mr. Ashigbey said the attitude of SIC was an assurance that the country could achieve greater heights in every endeavour.
