Vivo Energy Ghana, the company that distributes and markets Shell-branded fuels and lubricants, has inaugurated its new Shell convenience retail shop format in Ghana at its Spintex Shell service station.
As a Shell licensee, Vivo Energy has access to the four latest modernised Shell Select Shop formats that Shell has developed to be rolled out across Africa including Ghana.
The new format which is also known as the Shell Select Shop Core is the first of its kind in Ghana with new designs and wide range of products categorized under various headers for easy identification.
The Managing Director of Vivo Energy Ghana, Mr Fred Osoro in his keynote address said, the company owes its ability to stay in business to its cherished customers and as such, Vivo Energy continuously strives for innovative and more convenient ways of satisfying its customers.
“That is why we have upgraded our Select Shops to make shopping at Shell more convenient,” he said.
He said Vivo Energy Ghana aims to be the leadingconvenience forecourt retailer in Ghana to give its customers the best and most memorable convenienceretailing experience when they visit Shell Select Shops.
“We have created an environment that is extremely comfortable and attractive for our customer’s to have a feel at home when they visit our retail sites,” says Fred Osoro.
The new well-designed Select Shop has good visual access allowing customers to view a wide range of products from the forecourt, a well-stocked and merchandise product range, mobile money transactions, new IT system to improve services to customers, clean washrooms and a friendly, helpful and welcoming experience at all times from smart looking shop attendants.
The retailer of the Spintex Shell service station, Mr David k. Yengbe, was full of praise to Vivo Energy for being responsive to the changing needs of his customers.
